The parts of the speed brake handle. The idea was taken
out of Tony Bingelis book, Sportplane Construction Techniques. It has three down positions, 10, 30 and 70 degrees.

The linkage behind the rear spar.
Speed brake down in the 70 degree position. It is 10 x 28.5 inches. It is hinged just behind the rear spar. In the up position it is flat against the bottom or the fuselage. The bottom of the fuselage is faired in to make the belly board flush.
